My Bipolar Country

Yes, it’s the same country you live in. Now if you think you’ve come into the wrong blog site, well, I guess you’re right.. Suddenly, my body temperature shoot up to 40 degrees Celsius after realizing that I am actually writing about a national issue, because as you may see, I often write about friends and everything. I just hope this post wont crash my blogging capabilities.. haha.. Here it goes.. Count more weeks and our beloved country will be having our brand new Public Servants; new sets of possible changes, new sets of Graft practitioners or renewal of contracts of old traditional politicians. The hell, surely it will become much more difficult for the coming “Servants “to revive this ailing country. There were also threats of failure of elections, no elections and anything scary that comes to a politicians mind. ( di pa counted dyan yung mga namamatay na mga election inspectors, mga bantay sa balota.. ay.. Automated na nga pala tayo.. Still got worries kasi hindi na kayo makakapangdaya??!!)What can you get from a country like ours na 333 years na nasakop ng mga first world countries na tumatamasa sa Copy+paste na Constitution, Copy+ Paste na Culture, Copy+ Paste na Form of government??As you may have noticed, our country is suffering from a difficult level of Bipolar syndrome. Having both sides of the world to influence this country after drastic years ng captivity, what else can the future generation expect?? Let’s see..
  • Una sa lahat, after years of being under the Spanish regimen, we had their big dose of culture and the major part of it is Christianity.. Wow, that was the best part.. We also had their dose on Conservativeness. Then the English men came, we had our dose of Liberalism. Now let’s put Conservativeness and Liberalism together, what do we get?? A line of porn magazines, porn cartoons, porn videos with the head banging statements of the Church men condemning every piece of porn. Andami nating sexy stars sa showbiz... Ang daming nagpo-pose sa mga magazines.. Namigay na ng condom ang DOH, nagalit si CBCP… Hindi na Gapo ang sex den, dahil bawat part ng Pinas may sex den...
  • Next is our education system.. Even before the Spaniards came to this country, we already have teachers... Although they never thought our natives Logic, Arts, Sciences... Etc... Ngayon, they wanted to add sex education to the educational curricula of our dear elementary students. I don’t have anything against that. Una sa lahat, the kids should have the knowledge how they were brought up into this world. Well basically, the knowledge of adolescence were only the topics to be brought up in the system, why stop such a wonderful lesson to them? I have to say that in our grade four years, we were visited by a group of people from a napkin company.. They gave us a seminar about menarche, menstruation, and also a slight lesson about pregnancy. Wala namang tumawa after the seminar. LAhat nakinig ng mabuti.Siguro that was during our time. (YEAR 2000 yun.. still the Y2k decade..) Kaya ngayon, DOH don’t know how to continue on this project. It’s either they listen to what the church says or they focus on their aim to educate our youth (kasali pa ko jan? hehe) Two extremes that can result to either the best or the worst results for our education system…
  • Next is our Political System.. It was copied from the US government.. Obviously diba?? PEro we just had the worst things copied in our system.. hahahaha.. We have our 11 major political parties to choose from… and America only have two major ones (Republican and Democratic)… see the difference?? They have the so-called “Electoral College “that helps the people of United States to identify the “Only” president capable to run their country… Dito kasi sa atin, ang election for the position of te highes position in trhe government is parang sa Facebook lang... parang isang click lang, pasok ka agad as a candidate.. masyadong weak ang qualifications.. Of course, COMELEC is trying to take away all nuisance candidates that can literally cause nausea to our people.. But I think the number 0f our candidates in the elections today is really overwhelming.. Imagine.. 9 candidates ang presidentiables... 2 ang nagke-claim that they are the Opposition.. Samantalang ang nagke-claim na isang opposition, ay isang underdog ng administration... PAulit-ulit na lang lahat.. nakakasawa na ang nanalo ay ang the same faces we used to hate everytime na may election.. Ang gulo diba?? Tell me how to love this system… Hey Philippines.. di pa ba kayo nagsasawa???!!

(I’ve actually got tons of things to complain in this country… it’s just too long for my blog-layout kaya di ko na muna pahahabain…. The next entry will cover the other issues.. hahaha..)
